Anyone have experience gestational diabetes?

Hey everyone I'm 29 weeks and just received a call to confirm my 3 hour test is abnormal :/

If you have experience this please let me know, I'm almost freaking out here. I did ask my midwife if it goes away after bith and she said usually yes.

Did yours go away?

My sister had It quite bad, put her on tablets for it. My nephew came out at 7lb and healthy. Just for now watch what you eat, and ask your doctors lots of questions x

Hi! Don't worry everything will turn out fine. I was also diagnosed gestational diabetes. I had to check my sugar level 4 times a day before each meal. Everything seems to be ok with me I had a healthy baby. I don't know if it went away because I still need to wait for my six week check up which is in 2 weeks. Don't worry though I've read many stories that it does go away stay positive.  Congratulations on baby
