Over here in the U.K., unless you pay for extra or are a high risk you only have two scans. 12 week dating scan and 20 week anomaly scan. You can ask at the 20 week scan for the gender (if they can see it). I found out at 20 weeks with this one, but in my last they couldn't tell.

Hi. I found out at 16 weeks with this pregnancy but only because I'm high risk. With my daughter I had to wait till 22 weeks because she wouldn't cooperate with the tech at 20 weeks.

With my first we found out at 18 weeks, second 16 weeks & this pregnancy 18 weeks .  It was at our normal 5 month scan. We didn't pay extra to find out early. Just seemed better to wait to find out. Whats the rush right?? Lol good luck and congratulations!!

I am 14 weeks and i found out last week that i am having a boy. There is a test called harmony that the doctor can do for you to tell you as early as 13 weeks what the gender is

Each OB does it roughly at 20 weeks. My first we found at at 18 weeks because that was my visit schedule to be office. This time I gotta wait till 20 weeks and a day:(
Some OB's have a 'do not' list that won't let you get a scan from a specialty place, all of mine have been against any extra ultrasounds and its s big firm rule for them.

They told me at 16 weeks that they're pretty sure it's a girl... But couldn't be positive til my 20 week scan. Depends on the position of baby if they can tell early or not.

I found out with a 3D/4D ultrasound at 15(can be done as early as 14) weeks. You would be far enough along at 17 weeks for a regular ultrasound to tell, but it just depends some Drs don't do an ultrasound untill 20 weeks.

Hi i am 12 weeks pregnant and my doc said they dont reveal the gender until 20 weeks. But if you cant wait that long than you can go for MaterniT21 test which can be done after 10 weeks to find out the gender , results are said to be 99% acurate though may take some time to get the result... thats what i have heard..good luck and congrats!!
