August mommies!!:)

How are all of the august mommies doing?
Do you all know the gender of your babies yet?
How's the babyshower planning going?

I'm due august 10th, 25 weeks 1 day and I'm doing great!! Had a labor scare the other day but things are good now, going for a checkup tomorrow!:)

I'm having a sweet little boy John Brayden who constantly kicks his mommy all day long!!:)

My husband and I set our baby shower date for May 17th and then he had to leave for work on storm duty so not so sure about that date anymore!! We live in louisiana and he works for a powerline company and he left this morning to go help with the tragedy in arkansas!!

Hope everyone's pregnancies are doing good!!:)

My last 2 babies were over 8lbs so I think that is why they are concerned. I personally think it is beacuse at 241 prior to pregnancy and only being maybe 245 now at 25wks she is just gonna be much much smaller. I saw that she was bigger, and her organs are developing, they also checked blood flow from placenta so I'm just hoping she is able to stay in as long as possible and if she has to come out early then its a good thing I am delivering at one of the best childrens hospitals in the nation...

@sprmom87 my doc said that because of my uterus (Im very tall and my uterus dont want to loose properly) my baby has less space and also is litlle smaller than he should be, but there is nothing to be worry about. Maybe its related to Your case? :)

Oh we didn't have a baby shower for my first. (Being in a different state then all our friends and family squashed that ideal) but we did do a meet and great when we came to visit.

This time my husband and I are thinking of doing a diapers and wipes party....but who knows I may be to exhausted from the move to do anything before baby comes!

Hey August mamas!

I'm an repeat August mom...my first was an August baby. ..we has a boy.....and well this little guy (Arthur James = AJ)  is August too! I'm due August 12th (my first son was due August 10th and they took him a week early) but most likely will be taken a week early!

I feel history is repeating itself with my pregnancies!
I'm from Illinois (first pregnancy we moved to kentucky while I was 30 weeks....i hated it...we moved back just over a year after having my first) looks like we will be moving again around that 30 week mark but thankfully it's just a town over!

I swear this pregnancy is going so slow...much slower then my first....which is weird because i was constantly sick with my first....and nothing (not even feeling pregnant with this one unless he is kicking me in my lungs!) With this one!

Yea I wasn't really looking for a ton of girts or anything but I was heartbroken about this baby not getting any love... I cried for days about it and poor hubby was ready to go to the store and buy everything on my registry (we made one thinking I would have a shower). Just makes me feel like everyone was excited for my daughter because my sister had all boys and my mil had two boys so she was the first girl on both sides and now this one is a boy and no one cares!!! I'm thinking I'll tell everyone who didn't want a party for him to stay away when he is born Lol I'm a bit vendictive

He's doing what he's gotta do for our family!! And wow that's the 3rd Brayden in august I've seen!! Lol our little guy is gonna go by Brayden! Just named him John so he will have the same initials as his big brother Joshua bentley @thenewMrs_b

I'm due August 6th with my 2nd (first boy) and we are naming him Brayden David Lol (must be an august boy thing!!! ) I'm not having a shower or anything because everyone around me has made me feel bad because I had one with my daughter (I just wanted to celebrate but oh well) I'm sorry hubby had to leave so suddenly but at least you can be proud at the great work/help he is doing for others!!! Enjoy your kicks and punches... they are my favorite
