BIG baby!

I'm 37 weeks and had a growth ultrasound. They calculated over 10lbs already! I know it can be a little off, but even if it is, she is still big. I don't really want a Csection, but I don't want to be in trouble trying to deliver such a big baby. Any experienced moms that had really big babies? I really would like to hear about it

I had a 8lb baby at 19 natural in 3 hours but then had a 10lb boy at age 22 and he was also vaginal but i did get an epidural with him it was a 10 hour labor best thing is to not over think it my boy by ultrasound was supposed to be 13 and only came out 10 but it is also important that you and your ob are on the same page of not doing a c section unless needed but they also determine a c section based on the mom so relax and keep the drama down and you should be fine.

I had my daughter in June and I was induced at 39 weeks and she wasn't able to fit so had to go for a csection .. I think your risk is higher but not the case always .. my daughter was 9ibs 4 oz

Try not to stress on it too much. I was told my last baby would be well over 9lbs. He was actually 7lbs.My son before that was 8lbs.8oz. and I had him vaginally.

My first was 9.5lbs. I pushed for under 30 minutes and had an intervention free birth. I had 2 small tear that was caused from ME helping pull her out.

Don't let others make you fearful. Don't let those you hired tell you what you can't do.

My little sister was 11lbs 3 oz and my mom had her natural. I haven't heard the whole birth story, but from what I understand it went smooth. Best of luck

Im only in my 1st tri with my first pregnancy but I was 10lbs 7 ounces when I was born and it was a relatively easy (induced)vaginal delivery for my mom-she says. My sister before me weighed 10lbs 2 ounces- also a vaginal delivery. Ive read that some doctors an be quick to perform c-sections even when they arent absolutely necessary and also that there are higher rates of cesarean deliveries on the east coast. I would try and make it very clear to the doctor that you want to avoid a c-section if at all possible.
