I second Angela Skinner, I have degenerative disc disorder and have had pain for years. Preggo with baby#3 first two are just fine oldest is 10 seconds is 6. I take Percocet daily, I have cut my dose down myself, just to take enough to be able to function. Talk to your doctor, if you have valid reasons there should not be an issue. My Doctor explained to me that the baby would feel my stress abs tension from the pain and there was no sense in US both being uncomfortable. There is a risk of the baby going through withdrawal, I plan to nurse which lessens the chance. But I had no issue with either of my older two! Pray abs talk to your doctor ma'am. Best of luck to us all!

I have the same issues I have alot of pain due to the issues. With my son he is 3 now I took norco the entire pregnancy I was prescribed 3 a day but I only took 1 maybe 2 at most which didnt help all the pain but helped take the edge off. My son came out perfectly fine and he is still fine and actually bigger and more advanced for his age. He didn't go thru any withdrawal or any issues after delivery.  Beg of last year I was switched to Methadone for my pain which helps soooo much better. I am now 21 weeks pregnant and still on the methadone i only take 1 10mg pill a day and my baby is perfectly fine. Both are fine to take during pregnancy. Dont let these other people tell you different or try to scare you bc smoking and drinking caffeine is just the same as taking them during pregnancy.  Sometimes the benefits out weigh the risks.  N the risks r very low. I would def try to sit down with your doctor again and tell him how u r feeling and that the Tylenol don't help at all. I have a really nice and understanding doctor. I have the same issue with scoliosis and have nerve damange along with fybromyalga.

Im sorry to hear that, I understand, I have degenerative arthritis in my hips and back and the pain gets so bad I cant walk. Tylenol does nothing and my doc perscribed norco which is suped up tylenol but I wont take it because its an narcotic. So as far as dealing with the pain I get my fiance to massage my spine with a tennis ball, heat, ice because my back swells. But there really isnt much to do except grin and bear it. Ive heard about this herbal remedy my sister sent me some olits called "deep blue" its through a company called doterra and its all natural its like icy hot and that has helped me, even tho its natural I dont use it often but its worth looking into, im researching it myself. Hope your able to find something that works and if you do let me know!
