Classes

So what are your experiences with classes? I am just now looking to register (at 24 weeks.) I never realized how few classes there are, I assumed that the local area would have classes going on all day long and new groups every week or two. I can only find new groups starting about every 6 weeks, and always at night. Which is a problem because husband and I both work nights. At the same place. Its going to be very hard to be able to get the time away from work a day every week for both of us. But I feel as a first timer and as someone wanting a natural birth that its very important to take at least one class series. Have the classes benefited you? What classes were best? Would it be OK to skip them, or a mistake?

I think they're helpful, and even a one day weekend class would be better than nothing!

I'll call around and check for weekend classes... We work some weekends too but might be easier to get out of them if necessary.

Check if there are any weekend classes. Call the hospital and see if they could recommend any?

I've never gone to classes and I'm working on my third! Everything will come to u naturally as u need it. Yes the classes would help but u won't be lost without them. For labor the nurses and doctor will help u and ur partner with what to do and how to help you.
