I'm 24 weeks and have been having the same pains. I see a chiropractor every two weeks, which now is becoming every week. The cramps, I realized were from sitting with my legs down for extended periods of time (usually the lower part of my stomach). I recently started feeling my baby move and noticed that he is in that area and every time I sit with my legs down, I think I'm squeezing him because he moves around a lot and kicks a lot as well. I don't know if there is anything specific that can be done, but I keep my feet/legs up or don't sit for longer than 30 minutes on chairs. I find taking a walk around after that time frame allows me to sit again for the same period, ect.

Hope this helps
