Cramps

I have been having constant cramps since 2:30 this morning, it is now 8:50.  There is like no stop to it just one long, worst part of your period cycle like, cramp.  Also my back is in a bit of pain.  There is sometimes a wave of how painful the cramp is but it never goes away, even when I go to the bathroom which in the past has help my cramps.  I dont really feel like my stomach is tightening too much tho.  Is this just Braxton Hicks?  I am 38 and 4.

They went ahead and sent me home.  Told me to walk and bounce on the ball.  They think I will be back tonite or tomorrow.  I am going to do what I can to help.  They were so concerned with our heartrates they didnt let me walk at the hospital.   So hoping now I can help her along.  Have an appt tomorrow, going to ask for a membrane swipe if she still hasn't come.  Fingers crossed.  Happy I get to go home for now tho and be with my kiddos. :-)

Braxton hicks contractions shouldn't hurt. If you're in pain,  I'd go in.

Sounds like the start of labor, get as much rest in as you can, this is how my son came & it was 15+hours of contractions (2:30am -8.pm) & period cramping the day before after Dr swiped membrane at noon throughout the night! Good luck!

I called my doctor.  They have started to go into intense waves.  I am waiting on the nurse to call me back with instructions to either come in or wait out the morning.  I have changed positions, drank and change activity and they are not going away :-/

They r most likely Braxton but my doctor told me if it lasted more than an hour to go or call labor and delivery.  He also told me to drink plenty of water and lay down. I would call labor and delivery if they don't go away after you drink water. Sometimes Braxton are caused by dehydration.  Hope this helps I know drinking water and laying down helps me alot.

How far were you at your last doc appt? Real contractions start out feeling more like bad period cramps.
