Crazy leg cramps

These leg cramps are getting out of control. I get pain in my thighs and butt when I walk and crazy bad Charlie horses in my calves at night when I sleep. I had about ten in each leg in one night. And I walked funny for a few days after. They were so sore. I tried stretching, soaking them in warm water, and massaging them every day but it's not helping. Any ideas to make them stop? Thank u!

Pregnancy vitamins and plenty of water help me. Banana too. Also no fan directly on my legs.

Certain muscle cramps are caused by acidity. That's why calcium & magnesium help. Do you have rectal itch or burning eyes or ears? If so, you are overly acidic. Take plant based calcium & magnesium malate. Excess Sun exposure produces excess D3 . The D3 strips calcium from muscles and that's why you wake up with severe cramps.  Shower right after being in the sun. Take extra calcium if in the sun and throughout the day and before bed. Cut back on phosphates.
If you have oily skin you are acidic, take extra magnesium & calcium and oily skin will go away in hours.  I judge my  acidity & mineral needs by how oily my skin is.

Try the banana for potassium!  See if that helps.

If it's on your right side, it sounds like sciatic nerve. Nothing relieves it.

I asked my physician about those during week 20-22 I had them almost every night and occasionally during the day. She advised me to drink 100% coconut water. To up my milk intake and take 4 tums chewables before I went to bed. They worked!!!! Since then ive not experienced any leg cramping. Im pretty sure it should work.

I've also heard of eating a banana before bed, due to the potassium. You might give it a try.

I am hearing have a banana at night for potassium. I use yo get tthem before pregnancy too. So dont stretch out while youre in bed. I consiously do that and thats when I cramp up. Now I am pregant at 30 weeks and started noticing anticipation of cramping in my right leg because I sleep on my left. I can tell that my leg gets all tingly not like theres not enough blood flow. I tried to move it slightly and a rush of blood went to my calf and thats my first leg cramp since pregnancy. So stay hydrated and eat a banana if you can. I cant try that option because I have gestational right now.

I've suffered from leg and foot cramping mist of my life. Walking them out helps and make sure to drink lots of water.
