I ended up with a csection after hours of labour, it's honestly not that terrible IF you have help at all times of healing process, if you don't then i imagine it's hell, i was back in school my second week after the surgery. Healing is different for everyone, you won't completely heal for awhile though, it was 8months ago for me and it still hurts and itches here & there, nothing serious though, & I will be having one on Feb again. Good luck!

My first I was in labor for 15 hours and then ended up a section. My 2nd Inopted for repeat section. What a difference in recovery without having to labor first and THEN have major surgery. It takes several weeks to start to get around somewhat normal but quite a few months of soreness is to follow. You just have to take it easy and listen to your body (and always accept whatever help might be offered!). I know it must be a hard decision to make but either way you will have your precious baby soon! :)

It took me 2 months to heal and I wouldn't wish a c section on my worst enemy that's why I am going for a vbac this time around and they estimated my son at 7 lbs and he ended up being 9lbs 6 Oz so the weight is not always accurate
