Duphaston??

My ObGyne stopped the metformin and put me on Duphaston. I had a scan and the featus measured 6 weeks and 3 days and we heard a heartbeat. He seemed surprised that I didn't have nausea by now. Should I be worried? Btw I have pcos.

No problem!  I am almost 19 weeks and still on the metformin with this pregnancy.  She did reduce my dose.

Ok thanks so much for explaining and replying so quickly they basically made it sound as if the medication at self was unsafe to take during pregnancy so I've been paranoid still taking it since I found out my test results. Thank you so much for clarifying. :-)

I took my metformin thru my 1st pregnancy (all 39 weeks). The concern with the metformin is if they have to put you under for a csection. I did insulin (humulin for long acting and Humalog with meals) as well. I think they prefer the insulin tho.

6 weeks pregnant and still on metformin waiting for specialist to let me know if they will be switching me to insulin or a or something else. However I haven't really had a whole lot of morning sickness then just a little bit of nausea and I was just wondering if you were allowed to continue the meds throughout your whole pregnancy?
