I am 37+5 and your symptoms sound identical to mine except I have been extremely nauseous to top it off! I have to force myself to eat!!

Zantac is my friend. Wouldn't survive without it. It's a cruddy part of this experience.

Ive been there though my problems were from dehydration and I didnt have heartburn. Cher's response sounds likely though so Im going to agree with her.

Your baby is going thru a growth spurt and needs food so your body releases hormones that slows down digestion so that most of the food is absorbed to meet baby needs. Also the fast growingb baby needs space thereby pushing yo  stomach reducing its capacity. Try to eat small meals frequently and minimise greasy foods. You will feel better after lightening.
