anyone else fail their 1 hour? My test came back with a 146 and they want me to come in to do the 3 hour test. I am super nervous about this!

I failed mines too I had 133 and my doctor prefer 131. I had to take the 3hr one and it was horrible. I took my homework with me so that I could study while I wait but I was so hungry I was in the bathroom crying cuz I was so hungry lol. It was miserable but I got thru it. It will be ok.

The range for the one hour test is lower than the three hour test. For the one hour they like it to be under 130. For the 3 hour test its under 90 fasting, under 180 at one hour, under 155 at hour two and under 140 for hour three. I failed my one hour with a 165. I took my three hour 2 days ago and hope I passed. I was very emotional after finding out I failed. I feel like it's my fault and I should be doing something different. Best of luck.

I failed both now monitoring what I eat but weird to say now that I check my blood 4 times a day it's low never high idk think they should not assume on just one result

I also failed my one hour :( so not looking forward to the 3 hour. I felt yuck with the 1 hour test so I'm sure the 3 hour is ridiculous. I kinda feel it's a little much making us fast then go drink a big sugar drink and endure 3 hours of sitting and poking at us periodically. I almost rather just test on my own and start diet now :/

Thank yall for answering back. I go in on Wednesday to take the 3 hour so I am putting my butt in gear in terms of eating even healthier and walking after I eat. Fingers crossed all goes well!

I passed my glucose test. But failed my fasting blood sugar... so, im currently monitoring my glucose levels due to the possibility of diabetes. Measurements, however, show that they are at the lower limit...

I failed mine as well.  I did pass the next one though.  I was soooo nervous...I cried a lot!  It's actually very common not to pass the first one.  You also just barely failed it, so that it a good sign.  I know you won't feel better until you know for sure...I know I didn't.  But just remember it's common to fail and normal to be upset about it!  Chances are that It will be fine, but if it's not, it's okay...your doctor will help you through it.  Stay strong...ill be thinking about you!  Good luck!  Let me know what happens.
