Fainting. Have you guys fainted?

This is my third pregnancy and I've had fainting spells with my previous two nor while not pregnant. However, recently, I started to blacked out and sat myself quickly to the floor so i wouldn't hit hard and slowly began to recover. I didn't completely faint but did lose control and was sweaty on my neck even in air conditioning during the episode. It was a different feeling from being light headed or dizzy(i have experienced those but not this pregnancy) and scared me to death. I called my doctor and he said its normal as long as it doesn't continue and could of been caused by dehydration, anemia, or overexerting myself causing my body to overheat and that i should be mindful of my water intake, iron intake, my physical activity, and body temperature so if it happens again, I can pin point the cause. Has anyone else experienced fainting?

I'm sorry that is happening.  It sounds scary!  I've fainted when NOT pregnant and it is very surreal feeling.  Here's an article I found that talks about it and explains.  It does also have some signs that if you have that you should follow up right away with your doctor.  Here's the link:

This is my second pregnancy. I'm in 14th week and have fainted twice so far. Whenever I eat something too sweet, which increases my sugar levels abruptly, I get that. I don't know but my observation. Last pregnancy I had this fainting spells in 7th month due to low Hb.

I fainted with my first pregnancy around 24 weeks. I remember standing in line at the pharmacy. I felt dizzy and i fell in a lady behind me. My husband at the time was in front and didn't notice. Til the people behind him got his attention. I was immediately taken to the hospital. The ambulance got there be we opt to go in our car since everything checked out. I was in the hospital for 2 days. Gave me oxygen and ran test. My baby girl was born healthy and i was ok. Scared but ok.

I had a few episodes like that.  I took my blood pressure and even bought a glucometer to test.  My water intake is good.  My OBGYN said it could be blood pooling to my legs when I'm standing.  Moving your legs helps (walking) but so does sitting down and especially if you can elevate your legs.

You could be having issues with your iron levels.
