Gender revelation hasn't quite set in

Just got back from our ultrasound....clear picture of our little Boy. I thought all along it was a boy but kinda had my hopes up for a girl. I am not sad or disappointed just can't really describe it. I didn't get the overwhelming feeling I did with my first. I am happy my son looks healthy and my family will be over the moon because it's all girls in our family. Anyone else feel underwhelmed when they had their gender scan?

I am grateful for my baby but can't stop crying tonight. Maybe I just need to go shopping for him to start to get excited.

Thanks ladies. I know I love my boy we had early scares with him and I am o grateful to be having him. I just want to be excited.  Part of it may be that my husband is adimant that if we had one of each we would be done. I desperately wanted my daughter to have a sister because my best friend is my little sister. I have a brother too and we aren't close at all.
Maybe I just need a nap...

Everyone around me was having girls so I figured that I would somehow be the oddball with a boy (much to my husband's excitement).  However, doc said that I'm having a girl.  My husband's friend found out that he would be the one with a little boy.  One little boy amongst lots of little girls, including mine.  Lol.

I'm a FTM and for some reason just thought I was having a girl... Everyone kept telling me that they thought it was a girl... I had 2 dreams that baby was a girl... When blue balloons came out of the box at our gender reveal party I was shocked. I didn't know what to say or how to react I was so surprised. I can completely relate... My mom and I went shopping the next day for a couple of little guy outfits which helped and I spent some time on Pinterest getting boy nursery ideas! My hubby and I started immediately calling him by name! Now, I'm 22+2 and cannot imagine being pregnant with a girl! I'm so excited for this little guy to get here in April! So give yourself some time momma! It can be a little overwhelming at first and your reaction is completely normal!

My hubby was a bit underwhelmed when we found out we were having a boy. Lol. He was really hoping for a girl. But he came around and is absolutely thrilled to be having a son. As for me... I suspected it was a boy all long and was just fine with it. You'll come around. :) best wishes.
