Heartburn suggestions??

Ladies- Needing your help this is my 3rd pregnancy and I've had horrible heartburn since 3 weeks. I'm now 11 weeks and have been eating tums and alka seltzer like candy.. I also take zantac 150mg 2x a day with no relief. I'm not eating anything spicy and no caffeine.  I wake up with heartburn immediately. . Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I found no relief with tums, but felt MUCH better taking gas-x extra strength chewable tablets.  Any time before bed or if I'm going to lay down I try to have something like crackers or cookies to absorb the acid in my tummy.  I also find cottage cheese very cooling and soothing.  Try not to drink while you are eating...once I stopped doing that it helped a lot.  Hope some of this helps...feel better.

I was having heartbutn too! Ugh it *****!  So they say certain foods (not necessarily spicy) can cause HB so try to kerp track of what ur eating that could be causing it. Don't lay down after eating,  don't eat while laying down. If u drink a lot while ur eating (like I was) that causes hb so little sips between bites, n keep hydrated through out the day. Hope this helps!
