Like Kissmommy said... keep away from fatty foods etc.. zantac helps 4 sure! But if your looking for something more natural.. try the mint leaves or chewing on ginger root (thats what my doctor recommended).
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda with a little bit of water, tastes awful, but it really does work.
I had it really bad the last month. Kept fat intake down and it helped immensely. Avoid caffeine if you aren't already, & eat bland foods. Don't eat within an hr before laying down. Prop yourself up if you can when going to bed... And the zantac as mentioned by the other ladies when all else fails :) gl !
I ate Tums like candy. Buy my heartburn has gone away not that baby has dropped
Lifesaver fruit tingles they are a fizzy lollies they react with the acids and settle it im 27 weeks suffer from reflux and heartburn before i was pregs but now have it everyday for hours at a time. Worsed thing lol. Rubbing my chest and belly downwards helps too. Dont know if thats just a calming thing though.
if u dont want to take any meds. chew on minty leaves or mint gum or drink milk it can help
My heartburn started at 24weeks. You can try Tums but it didn't help me so my doctor recommended regular strength PepcidAC twice a day. It's been a lifesaver, I'm almost 37weeks and still take it everyday :)
I agree with the Zantac. Amazing!!! Just the 75mg one
I haven't tried this before but a friend swears that a tablespoon of vinegar is supposed to even out the acid in your stomach. It might be worth a try. Good luck.
oh my god i hear ya! 32wks also and tonight i am on fire with it! never in my life hav i ever had heartburn but i will def hav sympathy when people complain about it to me again. horrible or what!
My doctor put me on Zantac since my first trimester and it has been a miracle drug for me. You can try over the counter Zantac and see if it works
