I am 12weeks pregnant and I had a doc check up today,everything is k until doc told me I have chlamydia infection.. I was give 4 pills that I have to take but my husband also has to go get medicated.its curable I know but had this happen to anyone else :(

Tell me about it. Yeah he was with someone and so was I..but then we left who we were with to b together.this is so confusing even got into a small argument over it.but Thanku so much for making me feel better.i just took the pills yesterday and hopefully at my next appt which will b March 2nd they test me again and everything will b ok. He will go Wednesday on his day off &get tested..hopefully they give him the medicine same day so we can get this over with and move on to the next chapter

My boyfriend and I were really confused on how we got it. We hadn't been with anyone else, but he got treated as well. I was so scared I cried so much. I initially got tested at my first appt then I took the pills we waited to have intercourse for like 3 weeks just because I was so scared. I just got tested again for chlamydia and the gbs and everything came back negative. I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant good luck to you everything will be fine

He will go get tested Wednesday. And we won't do anything until my doc says it's ok.&we both get tested again

The baby will be fine but have you been checked before you were prego in the last year. I just asking cuzz if you have not been with anyone in then he has if its been over a year that you guys have been together. You would of been in a lot of pain by now. You need to look online about how it works. I'm just trying to help you.

I am pregnant right now. They did test on me like 4weeka ago and got the results back yesterday.they gave me four pink pills.she said my husband has to go get treated and then it will b ok..we're both stil confused how we got it..

I went through this and not trying to start anything but if you have had chlamydia for that long you would have know because it would have made you really sick with cramps and more then likely would not of been able to get pregnant.

Ok. Was just freakinf out. Bc the only way that I'm aware is thru sexual contact. Doesnt mean recently but would mean that one has been infected for some time then.

When did u take the pills and how long did it take for u to get tester again?

I have been with my  boyfriend for a year and we haven't seen anyone else. Maybe his previous or my ex previously! Not exactly means it happened now..still confused about all this but I pray everything comes it ok next time

Dumb question & I don't mean to pry but testing positive means one has been with another person aside from husband/boyfriend??  & thats y one has the C infection Right. I just had my 12 week check up & they did my culture my chlamydia????

Yes I tested positive took the pills just got tested again two weeks ago and tested negative. You will be OK
