How many ultrasounds do a normal pregnancy in 10 months have.

I'm high risk cuz I have sickle cell but other then that I have a healthy pregnancy !!! I have one everytime I' go to the doc n im 36 weeks

They can feel the baby's head down by you pelvic area from the out side of your body.

Thank you everyone they are only giving me 2 one at 8 weeks and the last one was at 20 weeks I thought maybe they would do one more but they said that's it I was confused to how they would know what position the baby was in.

Depends what country you are in and if you are high risk. The U.K. Normally have two, one at 12 and 20 weeks. I've always had more because of high risk factors, so I've had growth scans at 24, 28, 32, 36 & 40 weeks. X

My office does one every 4 weeks.

usually two, one to confirm pregnancy and get an estimated due date, and another for anatomy check to make sure baby is progressing healthily and normal.
