Husband says I'm kinda big

For some reason I thought I was cute I love my baby bump and I feel amazing. I get a little uncomfortable at times I just have a big belly I started off at 130 and I'm currently 158 and I'm almost 28weeks so technically I'm over weight my doctor doesn't seem to be concerned so I didn't think it was a big deal but my husband and his comments make me want to slap him. To think I thought I was cute lol. Should I tell him he's annoying me I don't wanna seem like an overly sensitive baby

Lmao! The only people that made me feel big was at Marshalls register and at a hair salon they both asked if I was having twins!? That's so rude that's Like asking if your pregnant!

My husband made comments until I showed his that he's still bigger lol. That shut him up pretty quickly and he started working out again lol. It was just  coincidence though. He wanted to measure me with a piece of yarn for the baby shower and then I put it around him and it was too small. Pretty priceless.

I would bet it's a phrasing problem haha. My SO likes to say things like "jesus honey you're huge!" But I know he only means to indicate that my baby bump is growing so I mostly just shrug it off :)

Most of my family or friends know to tread gingerly around me because I am a huge smart aleck when it comes to teasing. So if it were me I would say you should slap your husband with words instead of your hand. If he is going to dish out the rude statements he better be ready to take some in retort. If my husband were to say anything like that to me I would probably reply with something along the lines of "well I only need to deal with this bump for nine months, but you are stuck with that dumb face the rest of your life". You can get creative by switching out "dumb face" for "bad attitude" "flabby butt" or anything that comes to mind. Don't be overly rude but just say something that gives him a sense of how he is making you feel. Good luck!

If your husband us making you feel fat while you carry his baby he needs a big slap. If your doctor isn't concerened there is no reason for you to be.

I have been huge my hole pregnancy when i first got pregnant i ended up bloating up like a ballon rather if i lost weight or not

thank you for responding and I'm happy to hear that your baby girl is growing nicely so I guess I have to remind him that baby is growing and I'm going to get even bigger. That or next time I'll just slap him silly :)

Mine tells me alot that I'm looking bigger everyday... I'm not obese or anything. I was a lil overweight to begin with and so far I'm 31 wks and have gained 10 lbs. I'm high risk so I get an ultrasound every 2 wks and for a while the baby was very small and now she's all caught up so I'm getting bigger too. I have to remind him that it's not nice to tell a pregnant woman that SHES getting bigger but nicer to say that the baby looks like she's growing or something along those lines. Lol. I'm sure if u explained it to ur husband he will understand :)
