Im 29 weeks pregnant taking hydrocodone occassionally for pain. Ive weaned myself off is my baby still suseptable to withdrawl?
I wouldn't think baby would have withdrawals if you have stopped completely now. I know some pain killers can cause problems with babies to but if your ultrasounds have been fine and tough haven't taken many then hopefully it won't be an issue there.
Well I only took like 3 max not even everyday not throughout the whole pregnancy just ever so often Ive completely stopped now.
If you stop completely early enough it may be alright but if you keep taking pain meds they will have withdrawals from it. It is hard dealing with the pain but worth it for babies health. I have a horrible back and can hardly walk even when I am not pregnant and am choosing to suffer thru till baby comes. Hope everything works out for you.
