I feel like all I do is complain about my pregnancy...

Hi all,

I am 34 weeks pregnant and have had a pretty tough ride. The first trimester wasn't so bad apart from the nausea. Early in the second trimester I began to suffer with extreme hip pain, muscular spasms and heartburn. Third trimester I am still getting hip pain, heartburn and headaches as well as exhaustion. On Monday I have to have an Echo to check my heart as my heart rate is scarily and unexplainably high.

Aside from my constant moaning about the above, I have enjoyed my pregnancy and the feeling of having my baby boy kicking around in my tummy. I just feel like all I do is complain and wish he was with me already. I know they say that you shouldn't wish your life away but I just want my little man with me and I am so impatient.

Sorry for venting, but does anyone else feel like they are doing the same? Lol.

I felt like i was always complaining when my son was a newborn. Dont get me wrong, love my son to pieces and i would do anything for him. But i was sooo sleep deprived the first 2 months so whenever someone asked how i was doing,i would go off on a raging rant about no sleep and not being able to take care of myself. While other new moms were glowing with happiness and seemed so chippy all the time (they were the type of moms that had their hubby helping them 70% of the time). My hubby was working 13 hour days so he couldnt do too much when coming to the night time. I complained alot too while i was pregnant because of nausea/aches.
It all falls into place though, promise! My son is now 5 months old and i feel like myself again.

30yo Ftm , 27w and I'm miserable. Mood swings that make my teenage years seem mild, nausea and exhaustion all through the first. chest infection and sinus and just no immune system to the point where I couldn't go out at night cos I'd get mildy cold- we live in the tropics!  I had a nap everyday.  The 2nd I vomited and had reflux but no idea what it was. The 3rd I got the heartburn and jigged so I'm taking new drugs- wish me luck that they work. Oh and the whole way through, I've been itchy and sneezy to the point where I think I've damaged my pelvic floor. Can't wait for it to be over. The one thing I do seem to be ok with is sleep. Touch wood it stays that way.

First pregnancy and it's a girl, no nausea or issues, 36 weeks in 2 days. Just tired of waddling and having a tough time sleeping. I'm scared my delivery will be rough since I've completely lucked out with the pregnancy

I feel the same way too, you are not alone. It's not as easy for some as others because not everyone experiences the same symptoms or the amount of symptoms. Just like some women who have really easy periods that are light and last 3 days no cramps no headaches etc. Meanwhile people like myself and others have migraines, bad pms,bad cramps, back pain, 5-7 days long and fairly heavy. Basically every symptom on the back of a Midol box. I feel like pregnancy is similar in that way. Some women breeze through with barely any symptoms and can enjoy it a little more and some of us unlucky ones just end up with the whole nine yards of pregnancy symptoms that would make anyone miserable. I anyone enjoying it for the most part but def ready to meet my little boy and have my body back again. It is taxing. My ribs hurt, back hurts, major heartburn, just hard to get comfortable at all anyone mad yes 9 months is a long time, it's nearly a year of having to be careful about what you eat and have all the lovely side effects that and worry about so many things as well about so many things as quell as the anxiety and anticipation of meeting your baby and hoping everything goes well and they abound bouts healthy. Guys def don't understand but I'll give it to them, they put up with our crazy hormones and mood swings. Lol so that's a plus. Some days are harder and some days are easier than others but before we knownit, we'll be holding our sweet babies and miss the days they were inside of us kicking around. :)

I feel the same way. First trimester was very rough on me with "morning" sickness, which lasted all day long and I missed a ton of work and actually got let go b.c I was no longer to fully do my job. Then in my 2nd trimester I got 2 sinus infections thtt completely put me out and then I got a kidney infection with the flu and pneumonia that put me in the hospital for 9 days at the beginning of my 3rd trimester. I am now 32 wks and absolutely miserable. I have the most horrible debilitating back pain and my heartburn and acid reflux had returned full force along with not being able to sleep btwn not getting Comfy and peeing every 45 mins. I am ready for my Lil boy to be here!

Lthank goodness it isn't just me  thanks ladies. I think another reason I feel like i am always complaining is because my other half just doesn't understand what we go through. Lol.

I just can't wait to meet him now. :-D I will miss his kicks though. Like ss_ss, I think I will miss it loads... even the painful rib kicks. Haha.

How long has everyone got to go? I have about 6 weeks. Fingers crossed he will be on time

I've had very similar experiences to yours! I try not to complain, I try to enjoy my pregnancy, but sometimes it really hurts and I feel like you do.  Plus I'm super excited to meet my little guy :) and people keep scaring me about my last trimester being the worst so I'm a little freaked out!  But hey, don't stress yourself out more :) feel what you feel, complain if you need to, look forward to our bundles of boy joys!
