My cat knows she stays by my side when she can my dog also knew she would play with me and only laid next to me and she was just a pup

My dog used to lay on me on the chair but now that I'm pregnant I think she knows she is too big to lay on me right now. She also sleeps in front of the bedroom door now instead of next to me on the floor. Dogs know and understand. They are very smart.

I promise you guys aren't crazy animals are very smart, especially dogs they obviously dont know how many puppies were carrying or not to jump on our tummies at times but they get the point ;) Lol

Omg Ive sworn that my dogs have known that I've been preggo since day 1 and everyone thinks o am crazy! Lol especially my older dog...she follows me EVERYWHERE around the house and no matter what I am doing, she will just stare at me! Lol it's kind if cute but sometimes freaks me out! Lol

I knew i was pregnant because of my dog, all ofba sudden he woildnt jump up for a cuddle and started sniffing at me like crazy he also spends all night at my bedroom window and as of late wont leave my side and if i leave the house or he cant see me he will sulk like a puppy (he's 3) so i think im about ready to go

Yes dogs and cats can sense pregnancy. When you become pregnant your body sends off a different smell when sweating due to hormones. You won't notice but a dog will because they go off sense of smell so. And cats know because of the milk supply in your breast lol. My friend has a cat, he always hides when people come over and with me he jumps up on her bed and lays on my tummy and will start to purr and rub against my arm or boobs lol.
I have four dogs and one always kicks my belly. And the girl is really territorial when it comes to people coming around me, my biggest dog will bark at my fiancé when he sees us play fighting or him slapping my butt or something it's cute lol.
