I'm pregnant... again!

Hello all. I just found out today that I'm pregnant. This will be my 5th child. I have 2 sons and two daughters now ages 13, 10, 2 and 1. I'm actually excited because I'm happy where my life is right now. Just bought a six bedroom home, happy with my marriage and my role as a stay at home wife and mother. I am going to the doctor this week to confirm this pregnancy and move forward with prenatal care. It concerns me because I am overweight and also 33 years old but I'm putting my trust in God that he knows what he's doing. I look forward to getting to know you all better and congrats to all.

Congratulations!!!  I am currently 27 weeks with baby # 3. With your concerns about weight, I have lost 15 pounds due to sickness.  Your actually not eating for 2. Only need to consume a extra 300 calories a day .  And little to no weight gain  in the first 13 weeks. For those who are over weight  +my self pre-pregnancy) you only need to gain 10-15 pounds in the whole pregnancy. When in Doubt feel free to spreak with your midwife / OB.  about your concerns.  I asked my Dr what should I do because I didn't want to be 200+ pounds by the end of this. He gave me a lust of things to eat. Portions.  And the amount of calories.  Didn't do any good cause I'm still losing weight: -( but again congratulations!!  And I wish you the best in this pregnancy,  birth and after!!
