Important question! Answers plz!

So I'm 37 weeks today and Monday I signed my papers to get my tubes tied. Well I'm breastfeeding this baby so how does my surgery and the drugs they use affect my breastfeeding? Will I be able to feed her when I come from surgery? Will they have to give her bottle? I don't want her to have any formula.

Idk if you will see this or not but I'm currently in the hospital with my baby and just had my Csection... I've been breast feeding and had nothing but motrin and Tylenol which are safe and while it does hurt it is dueable without narcs... Good luck

The tubal ligation is a little while after she's born while I'm still in the hospital. I don't want the iv meds to harm her but I'm soooo set on breastfeeding.

It depends how long you are gone and as far as meds go, if your referring to pain meds you can just have Tylenol which is safe (that's what I will take after my section so he doesn't ingest narcotics) maybe try pumping if the surgery is a few weeks after she is born that way you have a few bottles saved up if she is hungry while your gone
