Induction in a few days

I am 37+3 weeks today and will be induced on Friday when I am 38 weeks. The said they would start by using the pessary and then move onto the hormone drop if that doesn't work.
My question is just how long anyone else's inductions have taken to get get things started?
I know it's different for everyone and there can be no way of predicting it, just looking for a rough guide really x

Thank you everyone, it's nice to have a rough idea of how long I may be in there. I have packed enough stuff to last me 3 days in hospital, but hopefully will be more like 2 days :)

How have you gotten your OB to induce earlier than 39 weeks? Mine won't before then.
