Babygirlsweetpea- my Dr had me on gummy vitamins because they have no iron. The iron made me sick, and he said I use those until I'm ready to try the capsules again. I took them with food at night and still was sick. I am about try the capsules again and hope that I can handle them being in the second trimester.

Or try taking them right before bed. That is what i had to do with the prenatal vitamins.

Just you guys know I have read that the gummy vitamins have very little to no iron in them & that they are not adequate by themselves while pregnant. If you take a gummy you need to talk with your doc & probably take a separate iron supplement.

I have to take my iron with breakfast or I get sick from it. Try taking it with food and then see what happens. If you are still getting sick I would call your dr

Thats weird that only happens to me if I dont eat enough and I drink my iron pills. My iron was so low they upped my dose to 2 a day, plus my prenatals and gave me a stool softener. I feel like a druggy with all that vitamins.  Just eat as much as u can and drink plenty of water.

U can try something natural, I'm taking blackstrap molasses to up my iron it only taste like liquid raisins and prunes for a minute and then I'm fine. So far so good it helped my sister to and safe during pregnancy.

Are you taking it with food? A couple times I didn't and felt nauseous. Try asking your ob if you can take a lower dose? I need to ask my ob as well
