thats all they do lol unless somethings wrong
He is doing what is normal. But, if you feel like you're not happy with him, change. Better now than later. And you definitely want to be comfortable with him.
Yup the other lady's are right :) if baby seems to be doing fine that is all they will do. They don't normally check for dilation or anything until after 37-38 weeks if even that, dilation can not predict when baby will come. Pressure is normal and will get worse, it's what make pregnant woman start to have that wobble late pregnancy lol. Around 35 weeks they will do a group b test but more than likely all they will do is swab down there
Your dr should not be doing a pelvic exam every two weeks. It could put you into premature labor. It is totally normal to start having pressure this far a long but I wouldnt expect the babies head to be down for another couple weeks. When you are having a normal pregnancy and the baby is moving and growing listening for a normal heart beat and talking to you is all he should be doing.
It's normal to have pressure your body is going thru many changes and making room for a baby with your four week and two week check ups all they do is check the heart and measure you no need for pelvic exams
