Is pain on my left side normal?

Hey everyone, so this is my first pregnancy! Just Found out this week, sooo Excited! Im 5 weeks and 3 days along so far. Its really crazy how we are already feeling symptoms already, for a week now i have been having mild cramping but What worries me is that i have also been getting weird pain in my left ovary side, but no bleeding.  just worried if Its an eptopic pregnancy. Has anyone else had this symptom? Please let me know, thanks

Ok, i will call and make an appt. ASAP. But it will have to be with my family doctor because my gyno doesnt Follow pregnancies. I will need to be refered by my doctor to a New one, i guess. How many children do you have? Are you pregnant right now?

My doctor now recommend I get my first one at 7 weeks, that way you to go to soon and get scared when you don't see much, which happened with my second son. Go ahead now if you haven't already and make your first prenatal appointment. First appointment they will just do blood work and ask you 100 questions and they will make a appointment for your u/s

I had the pain on my right side and when they did my u/s they said that was the side I ovulated on. You form some kind of cyst there but it's not harmful. Long as its not crippling pain, I wouldn't worry... All the aches and pains of pregnacy lol oh the joys :) congrats

I had a similar pain, though subtle. I never really figured out what it was, because I had a vaginal ultrasound very early on to confirm that implantation occurred at the uterine walls. i attributed it to all those extra hormones the ovaries were putting out to sustain a healthy pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancies are far and few  between. I'm sure all is well. Btw, congrats!!
