Itchy armpits...Anyone?

I have crazy itchy armpits and I am certain that it is related to pregnancy coz it just doesn't make sense why. I claw at my armpits like a monkey every night and I can't help it. Anyone know why this happens and how I could make it better?

I had the same issue and switched to a sensitive skin deodorant which helped and I started to wax instead of shave to help reduce irritation from razor burn.

Could be your soap also.   My last pregnancy it was the soap my boobs and armpits would itch so bad I would dig them out in my sleep.  Switched to dove unscented.  Sad part is mine continued after pregnancy and now with this pregnancy had to switch to a oatmeal and honey bar all natural.  I luv luv perfumed soapes too.

Omg I had the same thing in the beginning of my pregnancy any even now some days. I thought I was the only one. Its not the deodorant because some days I wouldn't use any if I had scratched too much the day before. Its just your skin changing.. the same as when you get further along your stomach will itch. So glad someone else has that symptom too.. its horrible hey!!!

Thanks for the suggestion but I am already using Mitchum gel sensitive. Which means no scent, no alcohol. Eish! It's quite annoying this...

It's a chemical in the deodorant.... Even though you have used the same one, your body is different now. Try non scented it will help.
