Hi I'm 25 years old, 6 weeks pregnant and was wondering of getting hair removal via laser on my upper lip. Is that harmful?

Ive been doing full body lazer treatment b4 I fnd out im.preg. and as soon as I told the lady that was doing it for me that im preg she stopped right away I heard lazer treatment on any part of ur body is harmful for the baby
