Lupus patient and pregnancy

Hi anyone here with lupus? I'm a 25 year old young woman living with lupus I'm very concerned about the disease affecting the fetus as it is not scientifically proven that it does. I have a 7year old whos autistic and I'm concerned if my 2nd will have that too or even worse.

It's interesting you say this,  because I have a dear friend who had lupus (I say had,  because she's now moved from Austin to California and is COMPLETELY symptom free) and while she had Lupus in Austin she had 3 kids who are all brushed with autism.  All are doing great as adults - we are all "approximations of the mean".  I don't know if their symptoms have anything to do at all with lupus.

I'm symptoms free as well at 16 weeks now I'm just curious and concerned I really struggled with my first born as I didn't know what was really wrong with him up until he was diagnosed at 4 years so you can imagine how stressful it is, I would like to be more prepared for this one and my boyfriend as well because he doesn't really understand my 1st child as well but I guess all in good time thank you so much for giving me hope I believe one day my child will be able to cope as an adult
