Not a question. Baby shower...

So my baby shower is June 2nd. Everyone keeps telling me to wait to shop until after the shower, but I'm finding myself to be impatient. I even caught myself wanting to buy cute little pantys for little girl. Like it want be there when it time to train in 2 years. Lol. I'm so excited at this point. I can't believe how little a 0-3 month clothing is. 52 days left till I meet my baby girl. We're naming her after the Tn flower.  Iris, but still working on a middle name. Have a good Friday ladies. :-)

My family rented a place.  It was a big celebration.

This is my first baby, a girl, so I too had to get her first dress, her first doll, ect. It very hard not to shop for your Lil one. And I must admit even though I received piles and piles of clothes when i go to the store and see something cute i buy it... my husbandalso shakes his head at me...lol

Chatt my husband has gotten irritated everytime I have bought something! He insists that his family will provide everything. I am not that patient though :)

Wow jackie where did you have it at? I only expect  30 or so. I'm trying, but I just love the little people section.  I glad I'm not the only. My husband thinks I'm crazy and when we are out he just looks at me and shakes his head. Lol.

I had a huge baby shower about 150 guests.   We combined both families and made it Co ed.  I know it's very hard not to start shopping but I wish I would have waited.  I received so much stuff some doubles and even triples that I had to return a lot of it for store credit. I had piles and piles of clothes from size newborn to 18 months, bathtubs,  high chairs, strollers, pampers,  ect.  The only thing I purchased was the crib. My hubby and I have big families and are truly blessed.

I have to curb my interest to buy things too.  What I do is I pick up something little like a bottle or a small pack of wipes or diapers. I only buy clothes if they are clearence.  It helps when I get stressed. My shower isn't until july 20th by the way and I am due Sept 23rd. Lol

My baby shower is on June 7. I'm just hoping to make it that long! I am anxious to see if people buy the things on my list or not. It's driving me crazy :) lol but I am grateful believe it or not.

Your shower is on a Monday? I'm due the 1st and know it's a Sunday so that's why I asked. But yes you should def wait to buy anything that is on your registry. My shower was a little over a month from my due date so I had plenty of time to shop and exchange gifts. Anything large that we were planning on buying we bought months ago.
