Not sure what to do

So I'm at the 7 weeks mark with my 3rd baby, and this one has given me the worst nausea and vomiting than I ever had with my other 2, it's so bad I almost can't function, which is not acceptable because I'm home all day with my almost 2 yr old son. At my first doc appt she prescribed me zofran for the nausea. I was super excited until I Googled it and started reading all these bad things and now I'm nervous. After a week I finally caved and took a dose which made me feel normal again, and finally ate and kept it down. Has any other mommies taken the medicine and everything turn out ok? I don't wanna take it but it's the only thing that helps.

I took zofran with my 1st born. She turned out perfect. No problems. This was 17 months ago. But I have bad nausea as well with baby #2. I take emetrol. Its a liquid cherry flavor med. Over the counter. Its been helping me. Also I eat ginger snaps. Helps a lot!

My friend took it and her baby was born full term and no problems....if there was such major issues FDA would have pulled it off the shelves years ago! But I completely understand where you are coming from bc I won't take it either. Ginger and lemon and peppermint are also natural anti-nausea meds and I have lived on sprites with both my babies and have put extra lemon in my sprite on occasions.

If zofran is really a concern try diclegis(it's fda approved). I have really bad neasea and vomiting with my pregnancy and they tried to prescribe zofran to me but just as you did a little research so did my husband and he was not okay with me taking it. With a little more research he found diclegis and so it's what I asked for and my doctor had no problem prescribing it to me and it works wonders. Hope this helps.

Omg I totally understand you.. this is my third also and my nausea lasted longer than with the other two. I took Zofran twice and then Googled it and freaked out so bad I didn't take it after that..

You may want to consider a pinch of fennel seed, it tastes like black licorice but it helps for about 12  hours.
I'm week 7 too. My 5th pregnancy,  hoping for 4th healthy baby. =^.^=
