Omega-3

Does anyone know if I can just take an omega-3 supplement, or should I eat all the foods this app is telling to to get it. I'm not much of a fish eater.

I started taking omega3 fish oil supplements, and my Dr was fine with it.  I take that along with my prenatals and vitamin D, and a teaspoon of coconut oil..

Taking a supplement is fine.  Plenty of foods besides fish have omegas. And omega 6 and 9 are also important.

I'm not a huge fish eater either.  In the morning I crush my prenatal vitamin in applesauce, along with flaxseed. It's great because it's high in omega-3 and fiber.

I take one to fight babybrain. Omegas are stripped from myelin shealths during pregnancy and since they act as lubricant in the conduction of, essentially thoughts, our thought process is slowed.
I didn't ask my doc about it yet but it does clear up fog in my brain.

Yes I take separate omega 3s because my prenatal doesn't have it and with my medical history I need more than what would be in a prenatal anyway. It's better than eating fish because there's no mercury :)

The omega-3 fatty acids should be in your prenatal.
