PLEASE HELP! Diagnosed suspected ectopic but feeling perfectly fine!

Hi there,
I'm new to this board so a big hello to all of you! My problem is; I'm diagnosed with suspected ectopic pregnancy since no intrauterine pregnancy could be found on my 7.5 week scan. On the other hand,  I have no pain or bleeding, thankfully. Other than that, there is no nausea or morning sickness or headaches . I do have fatigue and mildly heavier breasts. My blood report shows a high enough number of hcg so I'm definitely pregnant. The doctor examined me physically, applying pressure at different points to see if any point gives me pain, and as expected, I felt no pain... that made the doctor hopeful too.

my question is, is there anyone else here who faced the same problem of not finding anything on the 7 week scan but went on to have a normal healthy pregnancy full term? I don't want to go for another ultrasound till week 12 so would u advise that?

Thank you ladies. No they did not see a sac or baby on my 7.5 week scan. A friend with a similar situation just had her miscarriage this week and that's really gotten my spirits down.

@ firsti, I had no idea one could bleed internally... I think I should definitely go for another scan like my doc told me too.

Wish me luck girls.. I really want this baby and want everything to be fine. Hoping for a miracle on my next scan :(

I know this feeling :( these girls are right, you shouldn't wait, I was diagnosed at almost 7 weeks, and I was bleeding internally for almost a week before I found out, and didn't actually start bleeding until the day I went to the hospital (the only reason I knew I was bleeding internally was from the pain I had while lying down, I just passed it off with something not related to the pregnancy, then found out later what that pain was) anyways they didn't see anything. They should be able to at least see a yolk after your hcg levels have hit 2000-3000, my tube had burst and I didn't feel it and when the doctor put pressure on it still nothing,  went into surgery and sure enough there was an embryo in there with a partially ruptured tube. This really can be life threatening, I would listen to your doctor and follow up. I really hope they're wrong, but don't wait until it's too late. Sending positive vibes your way ♡

I myself had an ectopic pregnancy last year. I was almost 6 weeks pregnant.  I was in no pain but was bleeding. They seen no embryo in my uterus and told me my right tube had burst and luckily my body was able to clot bc I had a blood clot bigger than my ovary. was scary but my surgery went well. I had laparoscopic surgery and lost that tube but I'm now 21 weeks pregnant with my 4th living child and the pregnancy is doing great.

Did they do it vaginally? If so I would think they would see soemthing.  We could see mine vaginally at 6 weeks 6 days. But maybe you are earlier that you think?

Thanks for the responses girls. I have been trying ti conceive for 5 years and having to face a threatened ectopic definitely is worrisome especially after all that wait. I will however go to the doc when she asks me. Thanks for the support.

Hi, a friend of mine just experienced an ectopic pregnancy last month. She was 8 weeks along and did not experience any pain, but the ultrasounds never detected an embryo in her uterus. She had laproscopic surgery in her fallopian tubes to confirm an ectopic pregnancy and they found that her left tube contained the embryo and it had already burst. She said even with a burst tube she never felt any pain or discomfort. She did have bleeding early on though. I wish you good luck!
