Please help me understand Harmony (NIPT)

Will the results give me another RATIO chance of having baby with abnormalities as my blood screening did of 1/120 or will it give a positive yes or no answer??? Researching on internet but just can't make sense of it. I'm waiting on my results and Dr. said it would be a positive or negative but does he mean a positive high risk and
negative for low risk or positive something is definitely wrong and negative absolutely nothing is wrong? I'm so confused

Harmony test came back negative! No worries :) I wish harmony was cheaper and this could be the first blood screen. The first bogus tests and sooooo misleading and worry some

So happy to hear we also were told with my second that he was triostmy 18 baby and all the worries we paid came back low risk and fine turned out my placenta was very small and also he had a very minor cleft that all ultrasounds missed..
That's great to hear. Now you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

I had the harmony test done and as far as my understanding its pretty accurate. I also got the amio test as well that too came out postive. The doctor pretty much told me if the harmony test came out postive then most likely its a good chance of something wrong. But its ok bc as parents we love our baby no matter what.

It will give you a low or high risk result. So 1 in so many result. If it comes back low risk you can relax. I know it's hard to not think about it. But try stay positive. Your risk factor from your bloods is a lot better than mine was and my son was born perfectly healthy. Once you do your 20 week scan it will help to put your mind at ease. They will check everything.

Thank you. I called my doctors office yesterday and asked to explain what the harmony results would mean and all she could tell me is that it was 98.9% accurate so left me in the air :/ you're right my ratio could be a riskier either way I love this baby already and want baby no matter what:)
