Pregnancy Weight Gain

Does anyone make pregnancy weight gain a top priority? All along I been trying to monitor my pregnancy weight gain week by week using MedHelp Pregnancy App and the entry results has been driving me up the wall. I finally contacted my OB with this concern and they provided me a breakdown of the weight entries since I was tested positive and the results seem to be within normal range. What should I do to keep my mind off my weight gain?

This time isn't about you having the perfect body it is about you making a perfect body inside you, there isn't a correlation between how much weight you gain and how big your baby is. Embrace the beauty of your body expanding because of the miracle inside you!

Everones different don't force yourself to gain weigjt, I.didn't gain any till I was 30 weeks and it wasn't alot, just eat when your hungry some ppl put lots on but some ppl don't, in away if your not piling it on, its a blessing as less hard work when.baby's born to try and lose it all

Set a timer on your phone every 2 or 3 hours and then you'll be reminded to eat

Don't drive yourself crazy, those are just standard measurements it doesnt fit every single person. In.in my 3 rd trimester I gained the most and I just stopped looking at the scale at doc office at about 33 weeks, no need to depress myself. I ate very healthy and my pre-pregnancy weight was slim. After baby I breastfed and lost all my baby weight in a month.

I don't think you putting lots of weight on will make baby big. I put so much weight on with my second i looked like a hippo!!! But baby was normal size and she was born very quick and easy :) don't worry about it.

Im not worried about shedding the baby weight post birth because this is my second pregnancy. With my first pregnancy, I gained about 40lbs and already had trouble pushing the baby out so Im praying that I can keep this baby smaller and to make delivery more effortless.

Think about the baby. Then tell yourself after the baby is born you can lose it. Breastfeeding helps lose pregnancy weight faster just something to keep in mind. I stress over it alot bcuz i worked hard to lose weight before being pregnant. Also eat healthy and keep active this way the weight will be mostly baby and fluid. Good luck :)
