Yes. Tums are actually good for Calcium. My doctor with my first child suggested I take them for the heartburn and extra calcium. #strongbones
I would of said yes about 2 weeks ago when I was using them for heartburn. Then started having weird symptoms turns out I was over dosing on calcium. So becareful how many and how often u take them
My doctor told me to buy Zantac he said its safe
I was told not to because tums can actually calcify your placenta. Apple cider vinegar is best.
This is going to sound weird but try putting like a table spoon to one and a half table spoons of Braggs Apple Cidar Vinegar in water and sip it.I just found this cure the other day on a natural medicine website and it works better than anything I've tried! This is my third pregnancy and I always get brutal heart burn and acid reflux and have tried everything and nothing has worked well other than this. This works much better than baking soda in water and the taste is much easier to get used to! I have read that it has to be this brand because it is natural and organic and such, you need to get it from a health food or natural food store. Other kinds might work just as well but I didn't want to risk getting something that didn't work.
Chocolate is one of the things that leads to heartburn. :) & you can take tums regularly as described on the container.
Yes, you can. My OB actually recommended taking them to get extra calcium intake.
Ok thanks, I had a whole kit kat bar and got strong heartburn right away.. I didn't realize my food-best friend chocolate could give you heartburn :(
