Tdap

So yesterday I got the tdap shot and idk if this has anything to do with it but today I'm feeling dizzy, nauseous, light headed and have chills.. I also am barely able to walk because of some intense pelvic pressure I'm having. Like I can't walk without holding onto the wall I ate nd drinked plenty of water already as well so I don't this this dizzyness has anything to do with being dehydrated.. Any suggestions on what it could be ? I'm feeling so miserable :/

That's very normal with tDap. I got it a few years ago for my job and felt the same way. Its important to get it though because it protects the baby from tetanus, dyptheria and pertussis, which their is a huge outbreak of in the Midwest right now! Hang in there and if it persists, tomorrow I would call you're doctor.

Dizziness and nausea combined are usually dut to dehydration, and not just lack of fluids but lack of salt. So grab a Gatorade and you should feel better

The other ladies are right my right shoulder was sore and it had slight swelling but once I had googled the symptoms of the tdap then I was fine

it is common for your arm to be sore, slight fever and slight swelling of lymph-nodes
the rest sound just like another day of being pregnant.
the list of things that cause dizzyness is about 2 miles long. you can't attribute causation to the shot

It's good that you got that because you could've spread whooping cough to your child at some point after he/she is born. They actually recommend everyone that'll be around baby get that shot since baby won't receive that vaccination until they are 6 months old. With every vaccine there are some side effects. You just ride them out and if it gets bad, call your doctor. Don't freak out!

I got mine today. And they are all possible side effects listed on the paper, except the pelvic pressure. Contact your doctor and see if they can give you something to help.

Stay hydrated. The symptoms may not be all about the shot. Dizziness is common in pregnancy as is nausea and light handedness. I will be getting the shot in a few months. Even if I get some discomfort I  mmmm ow it will be safer for the baby with the preventative. If it is something that concerns uou reach out to your doctor

Contact your physician and explain to them all of the symptoms you are having. It could be a reaction to it but it could also be something else.  Play it safe call your Dr and inform them of what has happened.

It's very possible. That's why I won't give me or my baby that shot. That's common side effects from what I know. Very scary if you still don't feel well see a doctor. That shot messes people up.
