Thick yellow discharge

i have an appointment on Friday but for the pass few days I've noticed heavy thick yellowish discharge, it looks creamy or like paste but it's definitely yellow. I can feel like when it comes out and I wear a liner. I'm 30 weeks what could this be. It doesn't itch but it has a smell I can't describe

I've been told all of my pregnancies that if it has an odor, it's more than likely an infection

Doctor examined me today because of the green and yellow discharge.  He put it under a microscope to check it. Said it was fine just the mucus plug.

If its not greenish , no itch and no odor, you dont need to worry. Probably the plug...i get it all the time now im approaching my 20th week...

I thought the plug was slime texture

You could be loosing some of your mucus plug but it's normal because it rebuilds itself that's what happen with me
