Threatened miscarriage

I went to the toilet during the night at 15+4 and the urine in the toilet was pink bt there wad nothing when I wiped, the next day my urine was a dark brown, and the same on the toilet, I saw my gp that day and was sent to the er where I was told after numerous tests I had a uti, but there was no explaination for the vaginal bleeding, I was then seen by a hospital obgyn who did a cervix check which came back that it was still tightly closed bt there was a fair bit of old blood sitting up there and she informed me and it would continue to expell. I then had a u/s to check the placenta, which was found to be low but still clear of the cervix. Its been approx a week since then and this morning I woke up to more brown spotting snd back pain. Has any1 else had to deal with this? Its a fairly scary experience.. I should add that at the u/s baby was active and heartbeat wad strong..

I had the same thing. A low lying placenta and everything turned out fine I'm now if 34 weeks pregnant. If the blood is dark red then you have to be worried Brown is just old blood.

The hospital docs aren't great help, I mean they made sure nothing life threatening was going on.  I plan to meet with my ob on Monday hopefully to get better info on what I can do.  I'm debating whether going back to work right away is the best plan.  Obviously any kind of unexplained bleeding is totally terrifying, even though I was given great odds I still worry constantly.

I just got told to cut out any strenuous work, so I did just that, traded my job in fir something that was so gard on the body; however im worried at whether I made the right choice as I had a week off and the bleeding stopped, then I started my new job yesterday and today It started again.. It gives me abit of hope knowing you got such good odds, especially since I was given very little info :/ also very very scared constantly

I'm going through the exact same thing now.  Woke up last night to blood when I wiped and blood in the toilet.  Went to ER and they did an ultrasound baby is active and doing great.  They have no explanation for the bleeding.  I've been terrified all night and day and when it seems like the bleeding has slowed it then come backs again, not as heavy.  I was told that because I'm 15 wks my chance of carrying this baby to term is 98%.  They checked my cervics it was closed and they could see the blood coming from the womb, but no explanation for the blood.  They told me to just take it easy so that is what I'm doing.
