Threatened miscarriage?

I'll be 9 weeks pregnant tomorrow with my 3rd child and woke up Wednesday night bleeding. I went to the ER yesterday expecting to hear I was experiencing a miscarriage (I had one in 2011 that almost claimed my life). However, my hormone levels were normal and the baby has a strong heart beat and is growing normally. The doctor said that I'm experiencing a threatened miscarriage and put me on pelvic rest.  I'm just curious if any of you have experienced this and had a healthy baby?

Thanks. I guess I'm just freaking out because my miscarriage was the absolute most horrific thing I've ever experienced and the only time I've ever bled during pregnancy was when I miscarried.  Also, I'm on pelvic rest which is basically just no sexual activity, and that's been harder than I'd like to admit.

I'm 9weeks 2days and at 5 week I was taken to a&e with massive cramps and bleeding I thought I was losing our baby again it was to early to see a heart beat but was advised I had a rupture near the baby in my womb the no stress and lots of rest is going to be my best friend so I did I left work and have been lucky that it's the school holidays so I've had no school run with my oldest two 7and3 I was called back two weeks after for another can and although baby was measuring smaller than it should they was a strong heart beat and everything was forming fine the midwifes are keeping under consultant care because I still have a small hole in my womb but it's healing as baby grows. I've lost 5 babies and I know that in my heart this is our last chance of another baby we love the two we have dearly attitude and all lol keep yourself relaxed and listen to your body ... good luck

Yes anytime you experience bleeding in early pregnancy they call it a threatened miscarriage so don't get to upset. I am 21 weeks today and started at 5 weeks they said the same thing to me. They never put me on bed rest though bc I was earlier then you. But I have a healthy peanut growing and am still.spotting here and thereand. Goodluck momma
