Tips for morning sickness?

I have had nausea all day every day since I found out I am pregnant. Today was my first experience with true morning sickness. Add to that diarrhea every morning!! I am trying peppermint mints, peppermint tea, Gatorade, and crackers. I can't eat anything else without feeling like I'm going to hurl.
So far, none of these remedies are working. Next I'm going to try and find ginger candies on amazon.

I had to stay home from a family function today and lie telling them I had the stomach flu, because I am only 7wks.

Any other tips for combating morning sickness and all day nausea? Thanks!

Try drinking a glass of 1% milk (whole milk will more then likely make you sicker cause of how thick it is). Also room temp ginger ale or sprite! I even tried a little shot of Apple cider vinegar (dr suggested it) that's what help to a certain point I had it really bad! Luckily now I only seem to get it in the middle if the night so I get up and drink a half a glass of milk and it helps
