That sounds like week 5. You can have 200mg of caffeine a day, that is 1 cup of coffee. But a lot people can't stomach coffee in the first trimester. The 200mg also allows for a couple of cups of black tea or green tea.
I take metamucil everyday to ease the digestive symptoms like constipation and bloating.
I'm week 13 and still have little energy
I was starving for most of my first trimester (it got better by about 10 or 11 weeks) even though I ATE CONSTANTLY! I started carrying snacks like granola bars, peanut butter crackers, Greek yogurt, string cheese, bananas & trail mix or mixed nuts with me at all time. I had to eat something about every 1-2 hours or get that stavred feeling & then eat too much which made my bloating and constipation worse! (also a big problem for me during 1st trimester) Small, high protein snacks at regular intervals and lots and lots of water (I more than doubled my 2 litre a day pre-pregnancy intake) helped a lot!
Being a nurse would be exhausting Missy! I work 3 jobs but I just decided it's not worth it anymore. I work at Starbucks 5 mornings a week so I am going through caffeine withdrawals, and ouch! Major headache! I also work at a brewery on the weekends, so no more lifting kegs. And I coach softball a couple nights a week. Yikes, just need to figure out where to cut back.
I'm 7 weeks 3 days, & weeks 4-6 I was exhausted. I had to nap after I came home from work. I'm still tired a lot but not as bad. My breasts were really sore for those weeks, & they still are but not as much. I've noticed in the last week I get hungrier, but still trying to keep it fairly healthy. I just need to snack a little more between meals.
Me too. I'm 5weeks and I have been wanting to eat everything in site. Um also beyond fatigued which is so draining bc I'm a night nurse at a hospital do I'm dragging all night long just want to sleep sleep sleep
I was sooo hungry in the first 5 weeks then the morning sickness hit. Now I barely eat anything
