U might be carrying twins cos l have seen with similar case and it was twins.
Thanks all.
My doctor did diagnose me with HG but said to go to hospital if not passing urine and dehydrated. I've managed to drink some more water but I think if it continues I will because I've recently had a headache I can't shake and still struggle with most foods.
I got a script for Reglan once I lost 15 pounds and couldn't take it anymore. Thankfully my sickness is almost gone at 17 weeks and I've stopped losing weight.
I read something once that said if you are vomiting 3 or more times a day for 3 or more days in a row to go to Dr/hospital. If you're having trouble getting enough food down, you may want to go now. You may have a condition know as hyperemesis gravidarum, in which case they would need to give you fluids so you don't get dehydrated. Don't worry, it isn't that serious, you would just need to be monitored throughout your pregnancy to make sure you are staying hydrated and healthy.
I have yet to be sick with my pregnancy but getting a prescription from your doctor for Diclectin (pregnancy safe) will help with your nausea and vomiting. If you are feeling weak there's a chance you could be dehydrated and will need IV fluids. If that's the case I would go to the ER immediately. Good luck!
