Actually chocolate, pizza, ice cream etc. Is really bad for reflux. At least it is for most people who have it even when they're not pregnant. Unfortunately, my entire family has bad reflux and my dad has barretts esophagus (pre cancer of the throat due to uncontrolled reflux). Well both him and I have choking fits from reflux and not one thing helps except plain applesauce. I know it sounds crazy but it's the only thing that soothes the acidic burn in my throat and prevents me from choking on acid again. Again, people who only have mild reflux during pregnancy may be different idk. I get reflux film everything..even water.

Sorry I don't know of any foods that really helped me and my tums didn't really help me either. But if they work for you that's good, but if not please do yourself the biggest favor you can and go buy some pepcid ac. This product has cured my heartburn problems and I am just now discovering it at the end of my pregnancy.

I personally go for chocolate chip ice cream. The flavor isn't too powerful but it's very yummy.
Failing that, I find empty carbs ie mashed potatoes, cheese pizza (no toppings, keeping it as plain as possible), bread sticks from Fazoli's (I wish at this time of night), etc.
If you can stomach it, try some toast and water. It can't get much simpler than that.

Milk and/or bananas always help me out in a pinch. Hopefully you have one or the other where you're at.
