acid refux

I don't mean to sound ignorant here, but how does acid reflux feel and what do you do for it? I think that's what I'm dealing with but not sure. I've never had it before being pregnant so I'm rather clueless.

Thanks! I should try that. It bothers me most when I lie down. It feels like stuff wants to come back up.

Acid reflux feels like heart burn. It feels like a burning sensation in your chest and throat. Sometimes Tums work. Yogurt or milk say help. But its best not to eat anything for a couple hours before laying down. Also lay in on your left side when you do have it laying down can help relieve the burning. Acid reflux is due to stomach acid coming up into your throat

I get it all the time! I find that drinking a glass of milk or eating some yogurt or plain vanilla ice cream helps immensely!  My acid reflux always felt like I was on the verge of throwing up hot soup! Lol I think that's why the cold stuff helped the most...
