anemia

Anyone become anemic since pregnancy?  initial labs were good but my 28 week labs showed Pretty significant anemia.  I tried the iron pill which made me violently ill. I've been eating total cereal daily to get my iron ( in addition to a prenatal w iron- has less so doesnt make me sick--and eating as many iron rich foods as I can.  Any other suggestions??? Just want to try all avenues!   Thx!!

I became anemic too, and my doc said to take feosol and to take it twice a day with orange juice. I guess the feosol brand doesn't irritate the digestive system as much as the generic iron pills.
