Does anyone have anxiety or panic disorder and feels like it has worsened during pregnancy? Mine has got so bad i cant even drive alone anymore and i hate being by myself. I had this with my first pregnancy as well but just wanted to ask other mothers.

I have anxiety and after I became pregnant it did get worse, depending on the day. The doc tells me this is normal cause my body is going through a lot of changes and hormones are all over the place. Hopefully it gets better by the second trimester. Try breathing techniques, do something relaxing to get your mind off whatever is making you anxious, walking, praying..whatever works for you!

I have had worsened anxiety since eye coming pregnant. The doctor is trying me on a lose dose anxiety medicine. Told me that it should also help me sleep. I've only been on it for a day. Tonight is my second time taking it. I went to bed a little easier last night. If you feel it's a problem you definitely need to talk to your doctor about it. Don't wait and don't let it get worse. Good luck to you.

I have a panic disorder and I've felt much better actually since being pregnant. There are times where I still struggle, however I don't find my attacks to be like they were in the past (frequency, severity etc). Now, I did change my diet quite a bit since becoming pregnant. No sweeteners, caffeine, and I've cut out many other things. Some research suggests that artificial sweeteners can cause anxiety disorders...so that might be what I have/had which might be different than you.
